I chanced on the site while searching for a poem by Sir John Betjeman and I am so glad I did as I have now found some new and equally enjoyable poets. As a matter of interest (I hope) I recently attended a performance of ballet based on several of Betjeman's poems. Great choice of music, reader and clever choreography made it a most memorable evening's entertainment. Thank you so much for sharing your selection. Some types of poetry are missing from even a very thorough literature education, and one gets a chance to meet them here. Humorous and satiric poems get short shrift in literature education.
